Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian Actress best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te is enamoured. Emeraude Toubia is also an accomplished model and dancer. As a Montreal born native, she grew as a child in Texas and has been attracted to dance and performing. At a very young age she was trained in a variety different styles of dancing. In her 15th year she began competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention during 2008 when she took part in Season 2 of the Univision beauty pageant show Nuestra Belleza Latina. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 in the role of an office receptionist in an Telemundo episode. In 2015, she was a part-time actress in her first film the action-drama Tattooed Love. Toubia was recognized for her performance on Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
