Jill AND Mary

Jillian Shennessy (born 25th November on the 25th of November, 1968) is an Canadian actress, singer who had a major impact in American television. She has been praised for her stellar performances in the American television show Law & Order in which she as Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons and Crossing Jordan, wherein she was Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six seasons. Hennessy has also demonstrated her talents as an actor in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the independent films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class in which she played co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988 when she along with her sister played twin characters in Dead Ringers. She starred as a character on Broadway as a part of the show Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story during the year 1990, and then entered the realm of sci-fi in 1993 playing the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. Her big break was later in the year, when she joined the cast of the acclaimed NBC crime drama Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Parker was also awarded an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part in the role of Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
